The Swabian pump specialist Halm boosts sales team

From 1st March 2013 the independent pump manufacturer Richard Halm GmbH & Co KG has boost the Sales department for Circulation Pumps.

Mr. Thomas Nord (52) will prospectively be responsible for the region Rhineland-Palatinate with the post codes 54, 55, 56, 66 und 67.

After his established education with economical certificate he has been working for 7 years as regional sales manager in the field of heating, before he decided in the year 2011 to get self-employed with the industrial agency Nord. With his good contacts and industrial sector knowledge of the HVAC field, the fast-growing Halm GmbH & Co. KG ensures the active support for one of the last vacant regions in Germany.

New solar pump from Swabian pump specialist

As a worldwide unique manufacturer of high efficiency pumps which can be pulsed by analogue output of existing solar controls (wave packet, leading or trailing edge control), Halm offers a robust 3-speed solar pump for price sensitive systems.

Price it is levelled in the lower price segment but it contains all important features which are needed for a smooth operation. The cataphoretic coating has high temperature durability up to 130°C.

Although it is a well-priced solution for solar systems, Halm has also optimized the power consumption. In this way the 4m version has a very low rated input of 44 W which is the highest level for a standard pump.

Both Versions, 4m and 7m, are available from now on at the specialised wholesale trade.

Halm Babel box HEP BB2 series start-up  

Imagine the following situation.

In the end of the year 2013. Wholesalers do not have anymore 3-speed pumps on stock.

A plumber has been called to a wood boiler system at which the pump for the run-back uplift is broken. For the optimal admixing the pump was pulsed by the boiler control.

To set the system back in its original condition he would now need a 3-speed standard pump because a common high efficiency pump can not be pulsed via the power line.

The plumber therefore has got a problem because he can not buy such a pump anymore.

Halm is solving this problem with the Babel box set HEP BB2 (high efficiency pump with translation tool).

Simply replace the broken standard pump with the HEP BB2 set.

Finished.

At the on-site control there is no need to make any modifications because the BB2 recognizes fully automated if a wave packet, a leading or trailing edge output is used.

In short: With the HEP BB2 set can pulsed standard pumps be replaced by a high efficient solution for the first time, whilst maintaining the requested control characteristics.
